What data we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may process:

  • Contact form: name, email address and message when you submit the form on our contact page.
  • Communications: information you provide by phone, email or in person at the information you provide by phone, email or in person at the studio.
  • Technical data: basic server and security logs from our hosting provider (for example IP address, browser type and request time) when you load pages on the site.

We do not run advertising trackers, analytics cookies or social media pixels on this website.

How we use your data

We use personal data to:

  • Respond to enquiries and contact form messages.
  • Provide information about session packs, classes and visits.
  • Operate, secure and improve our website (including troubleshooting and abuse prevention).

Our legal bases under GDPR typically include contract or pre-contractual steps (when you ask about joining), legitimate interests (running our business and website securely) and, where required, consent (for example when you choose to load optional third-party content).

Third parties

We share data only where needed to deliver the service you request:

  • Formspree processes contact form submissions on our behalf. Their privacy policy applies to that processing: formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy.
  • Google Maps is loaded only if you click “Load Map” on our contact page. Google may set cookies or collect usage data under its own terms: policies.google.com/privacy.
  • Hosting — the static site is served via GitHub Pages; infrastructure providers may process technical logs.
  • Media storage — Instagram posts and gallery photos are loaded from our Cloudflare R2 bucket (manifest + images); we do not embed the Instagram widget on this site.

We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, clients and staff.

Cookies and similar technologies

This site does not set marketing or analytics cookies. We use limited browser storage for functional purposes only:

  • Local storage may cache gallery and Instagram manifest URLs so repeat visits load faster. This stays on your device and is not used for advertising.
  • Google Maps may set cookies only after you actively choose to load the map.

You can clear site data at any time through your browser settings. Because we do not use non-essential tracking cookies, we do not show a separate cookie consent banner on this site today.

How long we keep data

We keep contact enquiries for as long as needed to handle your request and for a reasonable period afterwards (typically up to 24 months unless a longer period is required for legal or business records). Hosting logs are retained for a limited period defined by our providers. You may ask us to delete your data earlier where the law allows.

Your rights

If you are in the EU/EEA (including Cyprus), you have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing, and to data portability where applicable. You may also withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent, without affecting prior lawful processing.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus.

International transfers

Some service providers (such as Formspree or Google) may process data outside the EU. Where that happens, they are required to provide appropriate safeguards under GDPR, such as standard contractual clauses.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page when our website or legal obligations change. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the current version. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy where permitted by law.
